Drone Aviation Engineer (m/f/d)
Job description
- Construction and design of the drone frame
- Selection and integration of hardware components, including motors,
sensors, cameras and control elements - Structural analysis and material selection for the construction of lightweight
and robust drones - Development of electrical circuits and printed circuit boards for control and
communication - Development of power supply systems and battery management
technologies
Required profile
- Completed university degree or technical training in the field of aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or
similar - Sound knowledge of hardware development for drones or similar unmanned aerial vehicles
- Experience in the selection and integration of components such as motors, sensors and electronics
- Familiarity with flight dynamics, mechanics and structural analysis Knowledge of CAD (e.g. Creo) and component simulation (e.g. FEM) desirable
- Knowledge of electronics, PCB development and battery management desirable
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and optimize hardware components
- Careful, independent and solution-oriented way of working
- Good knowledge of written and spoken German and English
- Initiative, open-minded and strong communication skills
